Welcome to Orr Lake Equestrian. We are a new equestrian centre that offers a safe and friendly environment for all diciplines, riding ability, owners, and horse enthusiasts. We are located 20 minutes north of Barrie on Highway 93 in Orr Lake.

Boarding

    At Orr Lake Equestrian we take your horse's health and well being in highest regards. We offer both indoor and outdoor boarding.

    Orr Lake Equestrian is 108 acres of land over looking Orr Lake. We offer a large outdoor riding arena (335' by 110') and indoor riding arena (120' by 60'), a round pen, 3.5 miles of fenced in riding trails, and direct access to the Simcoe County Forsest trails. We have 45 acres of lush pasture devided into 7 large paddocks. Horses are provided with mineral blocks and enjoy grazing in the summer. Hay is provided when pasture is no longer available. Automatic and heated water is available for horses, and shelter is available in every paddock.

Outdoor Boarding Fee: $200.00 + tax

    Horses that are boarded indoors have a regular daily turn out schedule. Along with the above services and facility we also provide twice a day feedings, a 10x10 bedded stall with rubber matting and fresh water daily.

Indoor Boarding Fee: $450.00 + tax

Leasing

    Orr Lake Equestrian has a great team of horses that help us educate riders ranging from beginner to experienced. These horses are available for lease. Leasing a horse is a fun and affordable way to gain the benefits of having a horse without the extra expenses and time commitments involved with horse ownership. Come out and RELAX, RIDE, and BOND with your horse.

    We offer lessons to all level riders. We currently have coaching available for:

    Lessons are always a fun and safe experience for our riders We cater to unique individual needs for people just beginning to learn or for those trying to accomplish personal goals at higher levels. Our Coaches

    Sandra Dustin is a Certified EC Level 2 coach and is currently teaching at Orr Lake Equestrian Monday nights. She can be reached at coach2sd@aol.com

    Bernardo Leguizamon is a horseman with 30 plus years of experience. He has a degree from the "Argentine Equestrian Military Training Academy", and participated in the "Argentine Military Equestrian Team". Bernardo specializes in horse aggression management and obedience, and has devoloped several training programs.
